You can support the programs of EAMC with a one-time cash gift or by making a pledge and paying that pledge over time. Some donors find it easier to give at the level they would like to support EAMC by establishing automatic monthly credit card payments instead of a one-time cash gift.

Make a Memorial Gift

Make a gift in memory of a friend, loved one or EAMC supporter. We will send a personalized acknowledgement of your thoughtful gift. All memorial donations are listed in Foundation publications and on the web site.

We all want the best medical treatment available for our family and friends. A gift to the East Alabama Medical Center Foundation enables us to continue to improve and expand our services and provide state-of-the-art medical technology for our community. A planned gift is a way to provide for the long- term healthcare needs of the community.

Become a Member

When the Foundation was established in 1987, it was originally entitled “Circle of Friends.” All donors giving $1,000 or more annually are considered members.

Membership in Friends of EAMC includes:

  • Invitations to exclusive behind-the-scenes tours to see new innovations and programs
  • Invitations to all Foundation events
  • Newsletters featuring stories of how your gifts help the hospital and its programs
  • Recognition in Foundation publications and in the EAMC Philanthropy Center
  • While hospitalized:

    Daily local newspaper
    Foundation courtesy kit
