Foundation Director

Julia joined the EAMC Foundation in January 2010. Prior to joining the Foundation, she spent ten years in fundraising consulting. This included feasibility studies, capital campaigns and advancement assessments. She worked with clients across the U.S. in various fundraising endeavors. In 2008, she received her certification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

Julia has been a speaker for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and Association of Philanthropic Counsel. She has also taught the Development Primer for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.

Julia is currently a member of the board of directors of Child Advocacy Center of East Alabama and the board of directors of Cindi’s Library. She is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She and her husband, Caleb, reside in Opelika. They have five grown children and seven grandchildren.

Special Events Coordinator

Sissy joined the EAMC Foundation in November 2009. She oversees receiving and receipting and is directly responsible for event planning and donor services including Celebrate Life, Think Pink, the EAMC employee giving campaign, and Tuesday Tours for the Friends of EAMC.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Sissy worked in development for the TIP (Talent Identification Program) at Duke University. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. Sissy and her husband, Kenneth, reside in Auburn with their dog, Molly.
