Mr. Haygood, an area attorney with Haygood, Cleveland, and Pierce, actively supports the EAMC Foundation because he sees how important health care is to the community. He also would like to see the medical needs of east Alabamians met through increasing annual and planned giving to the Foundation in order to provide more grants to those who need it most.

Mr. Haygood is a graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama School of Law. He and his wife, Sue, have three children.
