Dr. Glisson is a radiation oncologist here at East Alabama Medical Center, and has recently accepted a position as a member of the EAMC Foundation board of directors. He feels that his work with the Foundation will demonstrate his “appreciation of the hospital’s wonderful mission.” Dr. Glisson also looks forward to “serving with those on the board to better the hospital.”

Dr. Glisson received his BA from the University of Georgia and his MD from the Medical College of Georgia. Upon completing his residency at UAB, Dr. Glisson moved to the east Alabama area. Dr. Glisson is married and has three children. In his spare time enjoys quality time with his family, running, scuba diving, skiing, and trips to the fitness center when time allows.
